I am very leery of diet plans, so when I heard about Bob Greene’s Best Life diet plan I was skeptical. I wasted no time in checking it out and it seemed, well, wrong. I had always believed that diets were crash courses, and these were the ones I participated in. Start fast and furious wiping out and replacing everything I ate and then very slowly working back towards getting to eat what I wanted. The more I investigated Bob Greene’s diet plan the more it starting making abundant sense.
The more I thought through Bob Greene’s diet, the more it started making sense....

When I first saw the Bob Greene Best Life diet plan, it seemed upside down to me. You see, on my diet plan travels I always had to start out from ground zero and then work back towards normalcy which meant keeping the new slim me for the rest of my life. Then I really analyzed the Bob Greene diet and thought, hmmm….maybe I am upside down. I mean if my diets worked, why did I have to diet?

Phase 1: Getting Started
In the first four weeks of the Best Life Diet, focus on moving more and changing your eating patterns. Step on the scale to get your starting weight. Then, put it away! Next, get moving! This is what revs up your metabolism and burns calories. You will determine where you are on the activity scale. If you are already exercising regularly, boost it one level.
