Hi, my name is Sandra and before I get into how I lost 34 ponds in three months I want make one thing clear. I am not a dieting guru. I am just a mother of three kids and a wife who was tired of how I looked. I tried other dieting systems out there and even all of the popular ones too but nothing worked – until one day I found the perfect combination.
Like so many other women – life caused me to gain weight.
I work in an office as a payroll clerk. I am also a mother of three great kids. Speeding hours a day behind a desk then coming home to feed my family and get the kids ready for ed left me just exhausted. I was mentally drained and had no energy to work out. They say that 20 minuets a day, three times a week on a treadmill can do wanders for you – I could not even find the time to have 5 minuets of solitude for myself.
I was one foxy looking lady when I was in my twenties, 132 pounds and blond hair. A real looker but no super model. After the birth of my first son I retained 10 pounds. After I was done having two more kids I managed to gain a total of 31 pounds. It was a few years after the birth of my last child that I hit my heaviest.
I just hated how I looked, I was 163 pounds and I felt gross. I decided to try dieting and I tried them all. Atkins, South Beach, soup, lemon juice and even my least favorite – the cabbage diet. Not one of those so called super diets worked for me so I guess I just gave up.
I don’t think my girlfriends even fully understood why I stopped going out with them to public places. I hated how I looked and hated how I felt even more. I did stop dieting because there seemed to be nothing that could work. At my heaviest I was 187 pounds and then I seem a TV show that changed my life.
