When you eat healthy products your body becomes better equipped to fight diseases and so you live a longer life. You also become happier as good healthy foods serve as a natural anti-depressant.

You will also feel that you become more energetic when you eat healthy. By eating fatty foods you weight tends to increase, but this can be stopped by eating really healthy. It is not only your inside which will become healthier but the way you look will also become fabulous. From your hair, to your skin and nails, it will greatly improve.

It’s important to know that just eating one healthy thing a day is not going to make a major difference. For truly beneficial results, you need to device a healthy eating plan and follow it.

The best time to eat healthy is the morning. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, so keeping at least your breakfast healthy is a good start. Drinking a smoothie in morning is a good healthy option. It is packed with goodness and tastes delicious. Yoghurt also makes for a healthy breakfast but stick to low fat, unsweetened yoghurt. Eating plain yoghurt with freshly cut fruit pieces may be an even healthier option. Eggs and whole wheat bread or bran muffins is more filling. Eating cereals or oatmeal is also better than eating a fatty breakfast or even no breakfast.

During the day you need to eat meals that contain loads of starch because they contain energy. Breads, cereals, rice, potatoes and pasta will do the trick however, stay within the limits. Do not over eat; just eat enough to sustain your energy.

Load your daily ration with as much fruits and veggies that are humanly possible. However, 5 portions are more than enough to sustain a healthy diet. Don’t eat too much meat, go for fish instead. Also, avoid fatty and processed foods but do not cut it out of your diet completely. Always drink enough water so that stay hydrated and that you can stay healthy.
