7 Skinny Secrets To A Svelte You

People are intrigued by the skinny. They wonder what it really takes for them to get the figure they have or if they were handed down their figures by lucky genes. They wonder if they got lucky. People usually always believe that the thin work really, really hard at staying thin.

Its both true and untrue.

The unnaturally thin work extremely hard at staying thin. They are the ones downing lettuce without dressing and watching every single food item that crosses their lips.

There is a whole other group of thin people that make being thin look easy.

Those that are naturally thin have many character traits in common to maintain their svelte figures. Here are seven secrets that I found after interviewing hundreds of naturally thin people over the course of 14 years. See if you can identify with any of them. See where you could make some natural shifts easily so that you can be a naturally thin person too.

1. The naturally thin think thin thoughts. The naturally thin know that they will stay thin forever. They make comments like I’m little or I can only eat half of that. They think differently. They act and react to circumstances and opportunities differently. They don’t run to food when their dog dies or sink into a food coma when procrastinating. They think about food as just food. It is delicious, they love it, but its there to fuel their body and taste good, nothing else

2. Thin people don’t diet. True Fact. Dieting would never enter the thoughts of these naturally thin adults. You ask Why?, because they have never had to and have never thought of themselves as anything but thin. If during my research I asked a thin person if they were concerned about becoming heavy and their response invariably was No! When I pressed them, they said, because I’ve never been overweight.

3. Naturally thin people don’t confuse food with emotions. If they are sad, they call a friend or cry. When angry, they get some physical exercise or take it out on their pillow. They don’t mix eating with emotions as it just doesn’t make sense to do so. They only think of food when they become hungry. No other time, if they are emotionally stressed, they deal with their emotions, and not by eating. The thin group always deals with emotions in an emotional way.

4. Naturally thin people don’t have to eat to be sociable. Should a thin person go to a bar-b-que and not be hungry, they don’t have any problem mixing and talking but not eating. Whenever they happen to get hungry, they grab something to eat, but not until they are hungry. They are there to enjoy the socializing with family and friends. They don’t know the meaning of the term grazing.

5. Naturally thin people eat what they love. They would never think of eating celery sticks unless they were craving celery sticks. And when they are hungry, they eat food they crave. They never deprive themselves of something by saying no, I can’t have that. They know they can eat anything they want when they are hungry. They don’t say no to any food unless they are sensitive or allergic to specific foods.

6. Naturally thin people never eat just for the sake of eating or to numb themselves. They are conscious of the effect what they eat have on their bodies. They probably wouldn’t be found at the movies with their hand at the bottom of the empty bucket of popcorn looking around for who ate it all. Naturally thin people pay attention to how hungry or full they are from the time they begin eating until they have finished the meal. These naturally thin people don’t know anything about diets, counting calories or any other shenanigans.

7. Naturally thin people almost never overeat. There is nothing worse to this group of thin individuals, than overeating. They hate how it sinks their energy level and forces their bellies to protrude. Yuck! This extreme discomfort keeps them from overeating and reinforces this negative feeling. The average naturally thin person only overeats two percent of the time.

Can you tell the difference in their mindset and actions?

Now you know that thin has nothing to do with luck, or genetics, the quality or type of food. Thin people don’t gain weight because of how they eat, their connection with their body, when they eat and the freedom to choose any type of food.

So, now that you know all this, if you are considering losing weight, there is no time like the present and dieting isn’t necessary as the naturally thin don’t.
